In 1992, People Care Inc. initially achieved voluntary accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) for its New York offices. In 1995 and 1998, People Care was re-accredited by JCAHO "With Commendation", and in 2001 was re-accredited with a "100 %" survey score. In May 2004, People Care was again re-accredited achieving the highest level: "Accreditation With No Follow-Up Requirements". People Care of New Jersey's offices are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC).
